As how much I love Christmas from singing carols, acting the play, looking at the window displays, and now the commercial of luxury brands. (Yes, there was this year my family won the Christmas Carols, the game was to take turn singing Christmas song by family in no repeating, and my 365days singing Christmas fantasy plays it off, haha)
We do find France and England have wonderful window displays comparing to the ugly Mitsukoshi ones here in Taipei, not giving us any impulse to go inside or to shop anything. UGH. I think we can truly help them re-design.
Here we present the 2013 commercial from luxury and department industry, some are the behind making of the film. The clips are all from official website on Youtube or Website.

This is what we love about luxury commercial, all about branding. How the brand recreate its spirit and icon to the holiday season, in impulsing you “Yes, this is it!”
Tiff likes the Hermès one as it’s simple, elegant, straight-forward and branding it’s brand. For the department store ones, Selfridges is my fav store, first time getting lost and don’t know where to look as everything were waving hi to me, the spirits of the brand is strong, and the Saks Fifth Avenue one was marvelous, a great show!
